School....

So, today is the first day of school for a lot of kids in Michigan. Mine too, sort of. I started Jack today, in our basement, where I have a little area with a shelf and table with two chairs. We affectionately call the library. Beanbag chairs, an old comforter from college, an old playdoh table...and a shelf from my bedroom set growing up....some puzzles, "Candyland", magnets, sticky ball set, "floam", some coloring books.... After a couple hours, which went very well, I thought we went on a bike ride and Jack asked me how come God wanted me to homeschool him?......"Um, I'm not quite sure", was my very grown-up answer.

When Craig and I asked Heath if he was excited about his first day of school tomorrow this is how it went....."Are you excited for preschool?" (Heath) Yeah "Are you a little bit nervous?" (Heath) Yeah "Yeah?" (Heath) "cause my mom won't be there, my dad won't be there and my Jack won't be there"......awwwwww! How cute is that?

We will post pictures of Heath's first day tomorrow sometime, with some details on how he felt about it! I heard it's supposed to be down to 65 on Thursday! YES! Fall, here we come!
